This skirt is a revamp of a vintage lot skirt I came across at a yard sale! The strips of panels in the front and the back are from the original assembly and they were stitched together with a serger. I went ahead and trimmed and shaped them so that the length from the drawstring to the hem was the same all around. That gives the skirt more 'flow' and makes any 'buckling' disappear. Then I added a few panels to the sides, including the adorable dragonfly print you see in the pictures. I finished off the skirt with a new drawstring that accommodates the shape of a womanly bottom, a bottom tier of corduroy that can be hemmed up for someone's exact height, a pretty and convenient pocket in the front, and also the cool *dragonfly* applique.

This skirt is made with a combination of corduroy and calico, so it is great for anytime, anywhere! There are 2 pockets total: 1 fully lined patch pocket in the front, and a hidden-stash inside in the front. All the stress points of the pockets and the drawstring are reinforced so you need not worry about normal, or even rough wear. The quality is amazing!

All the fabric used was pre-washed before sewing to test it's integrity and pre-shrink as needed. The raw edges were all over-edged and serged to prevent fraying and the seams are all double-stitched to ensure longevity. This skirt is in *excellent* condition, and it can be machine washed and dried no problem!
